"Run for Brightness 2022"
The Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation will organize a Public Education cum Fund-raising Online Campaign to be held from 29 January, 2022 until 28 February,2022 to promote our service mission of "Equal participation & Sports for All”. There will be visually impaired as well as sighted participants to fully experience the concept of inclusiveness. Our aim is to arouse public awareness on the needs and abilities of the blind as well as providing equal opportunities for our visually impaired runners to participate in open competition.
Donations collected will be used to continue our sports training courses to benefit more visually impaired people to take part in various training and competitions. In addition, it will enable us to arrange our visually impaired athletes to conduct life education talks to students in primary and secondary schools as well as personnel in organizations and corporations when they will have the opportunity to share with the audiences their personal life experiences in overcoming adversity and to instil confidence and positive thinking into young people.
