The Secret House and English Garden on the Island

Beyond Nature Project in collaboration with  World Wildlife Fund Hong Kong (WWFHK) with the support from Robert H.N. Ho family. With an aim to cultivate endless possibilities for the visual impaired community in Hong Kong to experience the nature.

This time the guided visit around one of Tai Po’s iconic monument, Island House, to discover its architectural history and stories.

Our visual impaired members get a chance to admire, learn and experience the rare Island House species through your different senses. The array of native and ornamental species was planted in the secret garden. They could encounter some of our energetic “residents” playing around the garden by different senses.

At the end of the tour, we took part in a workshop to create our own sustainable plant pot with a range of succulent plants.
