“Run For Brightness 2022” Appreciation Ceremony

“Run For Brightness 2022” Appreciation Ceremony was successfully held on 29th June at The Sky Lounge, Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West.
The Appreciation Ceremony was held by Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation (HKBSF) and Sponsored by Chinachem Group. It was honored to have Miss Hannah, YIP Hau Yu, Assistant Director of the Social Welfare Department, Mr. Roger Ngan, Chairman of Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation, and Ms. Mary Teresa Wong Tak-Lan, the representative of the Chinachem Group as our Guest-of-Honour.
In the Appreciation Ceremony was honored to invite the students of the Karate class to demonstrate a “Kata” performance.
All The sports training programs need the support and participation of volunteers, they act like a comrade. Taking running as an example, every visually impaired runner needs a guide-runner to lead the whole trails. It is our pleasure to invite one of our senior guide runners Mr. Wong Wai Yin to share his experience of helping our visual impaired runners.
Ms. Mary Teresa Wong Tak-Lan represented the Chinachem Group as the Event Title Sponsor, to present a cheque of HK$400,000 to Mr. Roger Ngan, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation, and Mr. Eron Chiu, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Chinachem “Run For Brightness 2022” to support HKBSF.
We presented the certificates of appreciation and commemorative trophies to thank all the major donors, collaborating corporates, and organizations for their kindness.
Thanks all the donors and volunteers for supporting HKBSF all over the years to continuously develop sports training programs for the visually impaired people and let them have more opportunities to participate in different sports activities.
