The organizers "JESSICA" and "Jessica Charitable Fund" hope that, through healthy running activities, it will raise public awareness on the importance of physical and mental health of the people of Hong Kong. In addition, it is hoped that some funds can be raised through these charity runs to benefit social welfare agencies to help those in need in the community.
Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation is very supportive of this meaningful event and has sent a total of 21 athletes and 32 guide runners to participate this year. Our visually impaired athletes and guide runners were doing their best at Cyberport to run towards the destination. During the run, many runners were cheering along the way to support our visually impaired athletes. The atmosphere was very lively. In the end, all our visually impaired runners completed the race with remarkable results. The first three prizes of the visually impaired group (Men’s and Women’s 3 km) were won by our athletes.
