A large number of participants joined the Centum Charitas Foundation「beHERO Charity Run 2014 yesterday morning (23^rd March) at 7 a.m. Every one could sense the heated and lively atmosphere at Disneyland. All entry fees would be donated to the HKBSF in support of sports development for the visually impaired and to facilitate their integration to the community.

Nearly 4,000 people participated in this Charity run. Besides the able-bodies, there was a special category for the visually impaired runners, which provided them the opportunity to realize their dreams, develop their potentials and enjoyed the game.

This time, HKBSF sent our marathon team made up of 69 visually impaired athletes and 75 volunteers which was the largest in number ever in history. The atmosphere was of course more heated than last time. On that day, the Chairman Mr. Chau Tak Wai, the Founding Chairman, Mr Peter Sun; Executive Vice-Chairman, Mr Roger Ngan, Councillor, Mr. Patrick Chan and their families were there to give support and participated with their children in the parenting group, which brought heated the atmosphere to its peak.

Our marathon runners participated in the 10km and 3km run respectively. Athletes valued the opportunity to use their talents after the long-time training. Accompanied by their sighted guides, they smoothly finished the match persistently and admirably. Their hard work was returned with good achievements. The results are as follows.
